Thank you for visiting my website. I lead the ‘Global Logistics’ group at Newcastle University in the UK where I am Professor of Marine Transport and Logistics. I’m a native of Ireland where I maintain many strong links. The aim of this website is twofold: (1) to give some insights into the fascinating world of logistics and (2) in particular focus on logistics issues as they impact Ireland. Our monthly blog draws on the expertise of a diverse range of experts who address various logistics related topics, but with one common overriding aim: how we can ensure that Ireland has a world class logistics system.
